Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Balloons get a test run

Inflatables of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade sprung up Saturday morning amid Balloon Fest - a practice session for the 90th yearly occasion convention.

The occasion, which occurred at Citi Field, highlighted the parade's most up to date expands, including Bouncing Dog and the stars of Dreamworks' "Trolls."

Skipping Dog is around 36 feet long and 15 feet wide, and she is evaluated at more than 40 feet high. Also, the Trolls are a piece of a multi-character swell.

A highlight of the current year's parade will be the arrival of Charlie Brown and a Diary of A Wimpy Kid - both inflatables were tried at Saturday's occasion.

An uncommon inflatable during the current year will be the arrival of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade's first inflatable star - Felix the Cat. The inflatable was outlined utilizing similar techniques from the late 1920s, and will be carried on the parade course as he initially showed up, carried on sticks, impersonating his first appearance in 1927.

The parade will start at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day from 77th Street and Central Park West.
